You know that feeling when a scent stops you. When something in the air pulls you back to a specific place, a specific moment. That doesn't happen by accident. It starts with what goes into the wax before anything else.
Soy wax, chosen for what it does
Our wax melts are made with soy wax sourced from US-grown soybeans. Soy is a renewable, plant-based material that holds fragrance well and releases it gradually as it warms. It burns cleaner than petroleum-derived alternatives and leaves less residue behind.
Paraffin is a byproduct of petroleum refining. We chose differently.
We chose soy because it performs better for what we make, and because we're comfortable standing behind every ingredient in the finished product.
Phthalate-free, on purpose
Phthalates are plasticizers sometimes used in fragrance oils to extend scent throw or improve binding. They're common in mass-market home fragrance. We use fragrance oils that contain none of them.
This isn't a marketing position. It's a sourcing decision we made at the start and haven't revisited, because there's no reason to.
Every fragrance oil we use is phthalate-free. That applies to every product we make, across every scent in our collection.
What's not in them
- No paraffin.
- No phthalates.
- No dye.
- Nothing that doesn't belong.
We don't use dye in any of our products. The color you see is the natural color of the wax.
Small batch. Finger Lakes.
Every product we make is poured by hand in the Finger Lakes region of New York. We don't maintain warehouse inventory. When you order, we make it.
That means the product arriving at your door was made recently, not sitting in a distribution center waiting. Small batch isn't a tagline here. It's just how we operate.
- Hand poured in the Finger Lakes, New York.
- Made to order. Not mass produced. Not held in inventory.
- Small batch, every time.
